This six-petalled flower dish is painted in black lacquer with gold patterns. A lotus flower in the center is surrounded by six peaches and the ancient Chinese musical instrument–the jade lithophone. The miaojin technique using gold powder on a black-lacquered surface is applied, creating vivid expression. The floral design in the center features varying saturations of gold.
